About the studio

Akira Yamanaka Architects offer specialised architectural design expertise with design process utilising the advanced digital design technologies, hand sketching and craftsmanship skills towards achieving functional, aesthetic, sustainable & economically-viable design solutions. The studio is led by Akira Yamanaka.

Akira Yamanaka is an architect qualified in the UK in 2001. He had worked with several leading architectural design practices in London before setting up Akira Yamanaka Architects in 2015. He is also a Certified European Passive House (CEPH) Designer and Sustainability is at the heart of our design work.
